Bench Jeweler

Lucas was hired at Miner's North in 2011 but he started working in Jewelry in 2002. He trained in goldsmithing and diamontology at GIA Carlsbad, CA; and was on the diamond lab grading staff at GIA Carlsbad. Lucas was promoted from repair intake (customer service role) to shop administrative assistant, to bench jeweler at a national jewelry retail chain before we were lucky enough to hire him when he relocated to Traverse City. His favorite part about working here is the mixture of the variety of challenges from repair work and the creative challenges of custom work. Lucas is an avid reader who's life is about to drastically change...as he and his wife have their first baby on the way!
